Woodstock VII With Walter Pall and Jim Doyle

Spring is finally here after a crushing brutal winter.
With Spring the bonsai activities start in earnest. One of these first activities is the annual Woodstock festival, where Walter Pall visits Natures Way nursery in Harrisburg Pa., for an intensive 3-day bonsaifest.

Of course, Natures Way has probably the largest array of wonderful collected trees on the East Coast of the US, so getting the chance to work on collected yamadori is a special treat! SOme of the trees we worked were upwards of 300-500 years old.

BSSJ had (3) folks present on Friday, and (4) on Saturday. Was not there today, so can not report on the folks or work...

So following are pix of the work, the people, and of course...the trees!
Enjoy!
